Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary:

Acts as primary HR contact for our Bell Helicopter customization and completion site in the Tri-Cities area of Eastern, TN. This position will also support smaller service and support operations in the United States. As a generalist this position will be responsible for all primary HR functions with particular initial emphasis in employee relations, organizational design and change management. This position will have responsibility for a business group of 700 employees.

Responsibilities:

? In collaboration with designated business unit management, plans and implements human resources projects designed to maximize organizational effectiveness through personnel placement processes and job design.
? Coordinate with the Human Resources Business Unit core managers/leaders to execute objectives consistent with policies and practices.
? Provides support for talent development and organizational succession planning.
? Acts as advocate and advisor to functional personnel on career and leadership development initiatives.
? Coordinates with Compensation department and administers compensation processes for the designated function(s) within specified approval guidelines.
? Identifies and migrates HR best practices on a regional/global basis through the Human Resources leadership.
? In collaboration with the respective functional personnel, coordinates staffing forecast to project employment/deployment needs. Where appropriate, coordinates hiring activities with the Talent Acquisition Center.
? Maintains employee job performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning monitoring, and appraising job results.
? Acts as primary contact for employee relations? issues/resolutions.
? Contributes to Human Resources team effort by informing and collaborating across the organization.

Qualifications

Education:

? 4-year degree in Human Resources or another related discipline.
? Preferred: Graduate degree and SPHR or PHR Certification.

Position Requirements:
? 10+ years of progressive HR experience including 3+ years of HR leadership experience.
? Knowledgeable of applicable employment regulations and agencies (i.e., DOL, EEO, FLSA, OFCCP etc.).
? Travel required (approximately 10%-20% of the time).
