Margaret Caroline Krueger, 83, Somerville, Texas

Margaret Caroline (Knesek) Krueger July 16, 1929 ~ October 14, 2012 A funeral mass, honoring the life of Margaret Caroline (Knesek) Krueger, 83, of Somerville, is set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Our Lady of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Frenstat with Fr. Nock Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Somerville. Mrs. Krueger died Sunday, October 14, 2012 in College Station. She was born in Frenstat, Texas on July 16, 1929, the daughter of August and Caroline (Gaidosik) Knesek. She was baptized on July 18, 1929 by Rev. Inocent Rasha at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was married to her soul mate, Leon A. Krueger on October 25, 1947 in Frenstat by Rev. Thomas J. Motl. Margaret was a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Frenstat and worked as a sales clerk for Bill's Company for over 20 years. She loved canning fruits and vegetables, making kolaches, taking care of her garden and working with their cattle. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Gene Krueger, her daughter, Janice Krueger Kotch; grandsons, Donnie Krueger and Thomas Krueger; and four brothers and four sisters. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Krueger, Sr. and his wife, Deborah of Somerville; Jeff Krueger and his wife, Jackie of Somerville; son-in-law, James V. (Jim) Kotch of Somerville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earnest and Grace Knesek of College Station; and Gussie Knesek of Houston; her sisters, Martha Bohacek of Houston and Dorothy and her husband, Rudy Sulak of Wharton; sisters-in-law, Esther and her husband, Joe Shupak of Caldwell and Mae and her husband, Jake Fojtik of Tomball; grandchildren and their spouses, Rebekah and Jeff Luza, James Krueger, James V. (Jimmy) Kotch, Jr. and his wife Marley; Jared Kotch, Jeannie and 1st Lt. Brian Goss USMC, Candy and Clay Fritcher, Dennis Leon (DL) Krueger, Jr., and Jeremy Krueger; great-grandchildren, Justin Luza, Delaney and Tealey Kotch, and Hayley and Braxton Fritcher; along with numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends. The family has requested that memorials be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetry Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville.
