5 Ways to Tell if Your Facebook Page is a Success

Have you gotten with the times and started using Facebook for marketing purposes? Congratulations! That already puts you one step ahead of most of your competitors!
But just any ol? Facebook page isn?t enough to give your business a boost. Here?s how you can tell if your Facebook marketing campaign is a success:

  1. You?ve seen a boost in profits
    This is, by far, the biggest way to measure Facebook marketing success. However, it can also be a little tricky to figure out.

    Even if you don?t have a Facebook shopping cart or Facebook-only deals, you can still tell if your Facebook page is resulting in more money. Do you see more traffic to your website right after you post something new? Have your conversion rates increased since you created a Facebook page? Are more people stopping by your store, now that you have a Facebook page?

  2. You?re not the only one who?s contributing to your page
    If you?re the only one who ever comments on anything or shares anything, that?s a bad sign. Successful Facebook pages engage fans ? and encourage them to share their thoughts, chime in with new ideas, and share interesting things.

    If it seems like all of your Facebook marketing efforts are going into a black hole, it?s time to come up with a new way to get people interested in what you?re doing.

  3. You have lots of fans that are part of your target audience
    If you want true Facebook success, just having a ton of fans isn?t enough. You also need those fans to be members of your target audience. So, if your business caters to college kids, don?t be satisfied with the 100 high school-aged fans that are crawling your page. Some of the might buy from you, but they?re not what you?re looking for.

  4. Your number of fans keeps growing
    If your Facebook page isn?t attracting a steady stream of new fans, you should be concerned. Successful Facebook pages grow simply through word-of-mouth. If you?re not getting new fans, it means that no one?s talking about you.

    If your amount of fans has hit a plateau, it?s time to figure out a new plan of attack.

  5. You?re constantly updating your page
    Posting something new every 30 minutes doesn?t necessarily mean that your Facebook page is a success. However, you also can?t expect your page to bring you more sales if you never update it.

By updating your page on a regular basis, you?re telling people to keep an eye on it. That way, you?ll wind up with fans who check in with you all the time. Even if you?re insanely busy, you can find time to update your Facebook page once a day.
